Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Keiichiro’s dream was always to become a hair stylist and to this end he began training full time when he was just 17. After learning and developing his trade in his home town he moved to London to further his passion and career as a session hair stylist. His editorial work has since appeared across the globe in publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Tatler, Sunday Times, Tush, and GQ.
Keiichiro likes to focus on combining texture with an edgy elegance. He has developed a reputation in Europe for his sculptural forms, bringing dynamic elements to the brief. He loves working with people, drawing his inspiration from the many new and interesting characters he comes into contact with through his work.
Previous ad campaigns include Body Shop. Harrods. Boodle, GHD, Virgin, Sony, L’ Oreal, Clairol, Vivienne Westwood, Fred Perry, and Calvin Klein. He has worked with some of the most respected photographers in the industry such as Rankin. Norman Watson, Graeme Montgomery, Khristian Schuller, Luis Monteiro, Dan Smith, and Tim Bret Day. Keiichiro has also showcased his talents at fashion shows for Romina Karemanea and Oswald Boateng.
Keiichiro is currently London based and travels extensively with his work.
